Flight diverted after passengers served dangerous meals


NNEW YORK — A Delta flight from Detroit to Amsterdam was once diverted to New York’s Kennedy Airport on Wednesday as a result of passengers have been served spoiled meals, airline officers stated.

A Delta spokesperson stated in a commentary that the redeye flight took off from Detroit at about 11 p.m. Tuesday and landed in New York at 4 a.m. “following stories {that a} portion of the meal provider in the principle cabin had malfunctioned.”

A spokesman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which operates the airport, stated 14 of the airplane’s 277 passengers and 10 workforce individuals have been handled through scientific staff upon touchdown. None of them required hospitalization.

It’s unclear what number of people in overall ate the spoiled meals.

Delta stated it could examine the incident.

A Delta spokesperson stated, “This isn’t the provider Delta is understood for, and we ask for forgiveness to our shoppers for the inconvenience and delays to their trip.”

The port authority stated resort rooms have been being equipped to the passengers and all could be rebooked to achieve their locations.
